Fake wood vinyl panel removal 2023 silverado

Hey! Is anyone else having trouble removing the plastic faux wood panels in the new model? I was able to remove all but the door vinyl. Any suggestions? I can’t seem to pop anything open I’m afraid to start breaking everything

You'd have to pull the door panel and see how its all attached.

 

Going off GM, nothing in regards to that "wood" panel is removable/serviceable.  Its all part of the door panel.  Its not like those trim pieces on the doors for 14-19 trucks that were swappable.

What are you trying to accomplish? You can vinyl wrap them on the panel. There's a bolt that should be behind a cover behind the door handle.

I’m trying to remove the plastic faux wood trim and just vinyl wrap it but it seems they’ve made the door panel 1 entire piece now because I can’t find anywhere to pop open

You can wrap the trim without removing it. There are vids on Youtube.

I have same door, want to change the wood pieces to carbon fiber looking.  Found on kershaw on amazon. Product says comes with adhesive tape. I’m guessing the original piece just peels off ?

No it doesn't peel off. It's manufactured as one piece. The pieces you are talking about are overlays that stick over top of the existing piece. I did find on ebay complete replacement pieces that aren't GM and are about $30 for a set.
