MAP Sensor cage.

Went to clean my MAP tonight, as I've only cleaned it when it was like 6 months old. I pulled it out and there was no cage around the sensor. I can't tell if the dealer might have clipped it off at one point in servicing, or it broke while installed, or it came like this. I has me worried. Anyone see something like this before?

What ever happened with your truck? I just pulled mine out and the cage is missing too. I don’t think it broke off while removing it as it seems like there’s soot on the plastic where it should be. Hoping that simply replacing it will get rid of the cel with map error code
