Hello,

New member here from eastern side of Washington.

I just purchased a 2020 Custom, black, 4x4 with the LV3, 26k miles last, Wednesday.

Looking forward to the learning more about this motor and transmission (6l80).

I have read just about every article and multiple forum threads about these engines and transmissions.

I traded in my 2017 colorado for this truck.

Previous trucks owned:

1989 Chev K2500 5.7L

1990 Ford F-350 7.3idi

1990 Chev K1500 5.7L

2004 Ford F-250 6.0L Diesel

2005 Chev 1500 5.3L

2006 Ford F-250 6.0L Diesel

2017 Chev Colorado 3.6L

Installed the Redarc trailer brake controller on Sunday.

Welcome!

I have a friend with that combo on the previous generation truck with that same combo.  It's more capable than the previous generations with the v8s from a powertrain perspective with good mpg.  He's had good luck towing and the 6l80 transmission has done well for quite a while now.  You should have a reliable truck on your hands.
