2014 silverado electrical issues

Driving down the road the other day and all the sudden power steering assist reduced drive with care and stabilitrak started flashing across my info screen,  headlights started flashing, steering wheel jerking, gauges going crazy, and eventually truck would not even start, was told a bad negative battery cable,  so I bought a new cable, swapped them out, and truck fired right up and ran great for 2 days, got in to go to work Monday morning and as soon as I cranked it up it started doing the same thing it was doing before so now I am really puzzled and have no clue what to do or where to start.
