Anyone else here do a lot of computer gaming?

 

 

 

Right now I think I'm playing Battlefield 1942 at least an hour every day. The game is just tons of fun.

 

 

Other games that I've been playing a lot of are the Far Cry demo, just started Medal of Honor, and I've finally beat Call of Duty on all of the difficulty settings.

 

 

What other games are you guys playing?

Well, I've gone back to playing Team Fortress Classic lately ... really looking forward to the much anticipated release of Half-Life 2 (and Team Fortress 2)! Before this though, I played a ton of Quake 3 CTF. I'm in a ctf clan but I'm inactive right now. Just got tired of it.

 

Computer games are fun, but such a waste of time!

Half Life 2 and Doom III look just amazing. The graphics are unreal.

 

Have you tried the Far Cry demo yet? It has some superb graphics. They say the AI in there is more advanced but I'm not sure, they've done some pretty weird things like 1 guy will start taking cover and shooting at you while the other three just stand around and talk.

back about a year and a half ago I was playing too many games....so I made a promise to my self that I wouldn't buy another PC game till quake 3 came out.....if HL2 comes out before that I'll buy it, but other than that I am just playing the waiting game.

Now Xbox is a different story, I've been playing counterstrike, and vice city on that lately.

I don't think half life 2 is ever going to come out. That game has had just an unbelievable amount of delays.

I'm into the Multi Player Online games.

 

I played EverQuest for a few years but now I'm playing Dark Ages of Camelot, been playing this one for 2-years I think now.

Nope, I'll have to check it out though. I did go all the way through the single-player of RTCW ... I highly recommend it!

 

As for HL2 ... I've seen the demo from E3 ... absolutely amazing! However, it leaves me wondering if my dual Athlon and GF4 are gonna be enough for all the pretty bells and whistles.

 

btw: I'd like to slap the l33t h@x0r that leaked the code to HL2 and caused this latest delay. ugh

yeah I saw a pic of HL2 being sold in a store in japan somewhere....it freaking sucks...aparently they got more of the game then the company released...the only thing that was missing was a small portion of the graphics and the movies inbetween levels....I bet that sysadmin was fired.

I used to play Counter Strike online and it was fun for a while but I'm currently playing Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory and it is really good.It also happens to be a free stand alone downloadable game if anyone is interested in checking it out,roughly 460 meg filesize.

 

I have the Far Cry demo right now and OMG it is awesome.I'm really happy that I had a friend (Tex2kZR2 on the forums) build me a new machine last September because it's definitely taking a well built one to run the game properly.

Far Cry ran pretty smooth on my system at max settings the only part where i hit a bit of lag (okay a lot for about 10 seconds) was during a firefight w/ about 10 bad guys and there were a few grenades blowing up in the water.

Call of Duty multiplayer is what I have been spending my time on.We have three dedicated severs running.I am a member of the Dirty Diozen(DD) for the past 6 years.We play everything from combat flight sim to aCall of Duty,also RTCW & ET(Enemy Territory) Stop by and Visit us @ Dirty Dozen

I played Call of Duty a lil' bit online. It is unreal how good some of the guys are. I was playing a seek and destroy mission and once your dead you can just spectate so I was following one of the guys on my team and it was just amazing, he shoots a few bullets, kiils a guy, runs out, throws a grenade, kills a guy, sneaks around back, kills a guy w/ the knife, plants the bomb, proceeds to kill two more enemies all within the span of about 30 seconds. I guess I don't play the game enough to keep up with that.

 

But, call of duty is great for multiplayer, but I do love the team aspect of BF1942, not to mention the tanks and planes you can take over.

 

I got both games for christmas and neither one has left my drives in over a month now.

Well,that's kind of my point.Mt system has 0 lag running the highest possible details and will do it fine but when I exit out of the game I can certainly tell that it has been working.

 

If any of you guys that play multi player online are looking for some pretty cool people on good servers,drop by rdhclan.net and browse the forums.We have several different games going on (RTCW,UT2k3,CoD,SOF 2,Halo...etc) and mature players so you guys would probably enjoy it.
