2015 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 Check Engine light diagnosis need help.

Hi.

2015 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 Flex Fuel 60,000 miles, Check engine light illuminated.

 

Code was P0158

          Replaced downstream sensor passenger side with BOSCH 15698, towed 100 miles P0156 code returned along with P013C

 

Checked O2 sensor voltage at idle 0.02 VDC

Checked O2 sensor voltage at higher speed, 0.13 VDC

         Returned BOSCH 15698 and installed replacement same part number.

 

Towed 100 miles, codes P0156 and P013C returned, additional code P2273.

 

I did notice strong gasoline smell at truck when parked prior to first Code.  Figured it couldn't be my truck and moved on.  Where do I go from here, Help?

The OEM don't use Bosch sensors on LS engines, only use delco/denso parts.

 

Hard to say if that is the problem again but I never run bosch o2 sensors on these trucks.

Throw away that Bosch junk, head down to the dealer or an AC Delco store and get the OEM/ACDelco sensor.  GM vehicles are VERY sensitive with O2 sensors and anything but OEM will cause problems.  GM # is 12609457, ACDelco 213-4229. 

 

All of the codes you have are still for bank 2 sensor 2 so passenger side post converter.
