Thanks for the tip. What dash speakers did you end up going with? And of course, how does it sound?  Did you have to take off the A pillar trim or were you able to just pop off the dash cover? Oh, and did you need any adaptors, or did they match right up? Thx!

I used the pioneer TS-A706 they sounds really good. It did make a difference in the sound. It doesn’t seem so “flat” now.
Yes I had to take off the a-pillars, very easy. 10mm under the pillar bolt covers. 7mm for the speakers. The metra 82-4573 fit the factory harness perfectly.

I thought I caught in one of your earlier posts you were set on going with the Kenwood speakers.  Any reason why you changed that and went with the Pioneers? Thanks!

I was but I had a deal on these and took it. I might order the kenwoods and try them out. Right now it’s a lot better but could use more mid.

Did you happen to put a bassblocker in-line on your install or just swapped the speaker?  Any issue with chimes or anything being louder?

No because another member on here it cause a communication error with the radio control module. Sounds a lot better though. Without the bass blocker I’ve had no trouble with the volume of the chimes

I just ordered the Pioneer Dash Speakers. Pioneer TS-A709. Did you ever get a chance to hear the Kenwood's? Did u replace any other speakers? Going to add an active sub and do a full install later on.

No I wish I had tried the kenwoods kfc 2. There are good skeakers and some of the other members on here use them and love them. I got a great deal on the pioneers and I like pioneer, so I went with it. I replaced the door speakers with a kenwood 6x9 from crutchfield. KFC-6966s, pioneers for dash were a TSA-706. Rear door speakers come I installed Polk DB-652. You will need the speaker adapter brackets and harness connectors for speakers. They all came from crutchfield at no extra cost if you biy the speakers from them. And they send a pdf on how to remove and install everyone of the speakers and amp and subwoofer to help all free. I posted that pdf on her for everybody to use in case you needed it . Best of luck, feel free to reach out to me if you need help with your wiring!
