2013 Silverado 1500 wiper blades [25877402]

Lord above, my current blades on my 2013 Silverado 1500 WT are crusty and the passenger wiper is tearing loose at the bottom. Time for new blades. It seems that the good old days are just that, not seeing any wiper blade refills. You gotta buy the holder w/blade in it. Ow.

 

Anyways, the current P/N is 25877402, I can find them for $23-ish, but one site is $17, and I'm leery of the low-price leader. Local GM stealerships want me to send in a parts request or order on-line. It would be nice if they just let you search the P/N and reply with a price... That is so 2000-ish... Anyways, I got it under control...

 

For those of you in the know, what is the "1st Design" and the "2nd Design"? I'm sure both will fit on the wiper arm without an issue, so why the change?

I don't know 1st from 2nd but that part number is for your truck.  There are GM dealerships that sell on Ebay, Amazon, or get some Bosch ones at Walmart.  I live in Florida, new wipers every 12 months.

A few sites had disclaimers about GM Parts possibly taking longer to become available.
