2002 Yukon XL Gauge illumination

All other lights on the cluster work. Can't get speedometer, temp, oil pressure gauge to illuminate at night. Checking fuses and would like other ideas before pulling the cluster. Also does the cluster need to be pulled to check the bulbs?

Yes, but its very easy to do and the backlighting are all standard 194/168-type bulbs.

Pull cluster out and replace lights and stepper motors (if your's haven't failed yet, you're lucky)...there's places on the interwebs that will do it for ~~~$150 or so fi you're not adept at soldering.  May even have someone local to you that does them.
