I have a 2020 Silverado LT that I have upgraded all the speakers and added an amp. Recently I’ve noticed the sound on the drivers side will fade in and out. Thinking it may be the amp I swapped the RCA’s and the same thing started happening on the passenger side. So I’m leaning towards something wrong with the radio itself.Anyone have this issue or something comparable and how did you fix it?

Have you checked the wiring connections to the radio? Sometimes a loose connection can lead to these intermittent issues.

Make sure the amp is getting a steady power supply too. Voltage issues can really mess up the audio.
Also, check the grounding points for both the radio and the amp. Bad grounding can mess with the sound quality. And maybe think about updating the radio firmware real quick if you haven't done that lately. Clean, secure connections are crucial.

what Niklasbraun said and if those checkout, is the amp one that has to be programmed or calibrated?  i added a kicker key amp and had to play a certain sound through the radio to calibrate the sounds from speakers.
