2021 Sierra elevation crew cab BOSE question

I added a T-harness, sub amp and sub to my truck when I first got it to enhance the listening experience. I'm ready to go further with the front stage. This is not an unlimited budget build, but I'd like to do a proper helix DSP as part of this mix and have already purchased AudioFrog GS690's and GS25...the GS25's are actually already in the truck on the stock bose amp for now and while they made a small improvement, like most said here it wasn't drastic. I'm on the fence of adding a tweeter and doing full active 3-way front stage vs. 2

My question is in regards to the rear door speakers.   I've read stuff online where people built the whole front sound stage up and tuned it with the DSP and left whatever rear door speaker they chose running off the stock Bose amp.  Does that really work out?  If you're setting phase and timing and the whole 9 yards on the full front stage but not the rear does it negatively effect the listening experience?  I know it's mainly rear fill only but should it still also be processed by the DSP?   I ask because 4-6 channels of DSP and amplification is significantly cheaper than 8 so if I can get away with running full 3-ways up front and leave all the rear door stuff on the OEM Bose for fill then great.  If it's necessary for it to also be on the DSP and amplified for the best result then I need to re-think my plans.

Anyhow, looking to hear from those who have gone through a similar decision set and what your opinion is on factory Bose rear fill vs. DSP and amplified rear fill.  Either way not going to put an exotic speaker back there probably Morel 6.5 coax or AudioFrog entry level G62.

Thanks in advance.,

Andy

I went full active with an 8 (7 used) channel DSP. Either DSP the rear channels or disconnect them.

I have kids who regularly ride in the back, so getting some semblance of quality sound back there for them was pretty high up on my priority list. If I wasn't concerned about passengers, I'd be comfortable disconnecting the rears and just running the fronts to save some money. Leaving the rear speakers in place and unprocessed isn't a great option, as the OEM system needed some serious EQ to remove the BOSE flavor so that there wasn't a weird mid-heavy presence with the Pioneer TS-D65F's I put in. Adjusting the timing wasn't as critical with kids, but the stock setup wasn't set up for a driver-centric image to begin with.

Don't overlook audisons new forza line. Really good amps that can be bridged. I'm digging my GB10, GB25 and Gs690 setup. I have GS60s but their just filling space currently.

More than a few suggest dumping the rear and going 3 way upfront. Using the rears correctly, takes alot more effort for a very little return. Esp in our trucks as the cabin isn't that big.
