AzChevyGuy Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Hello; I’ve looked and looked, and confused about what kind of fuse to replace and where. I understand there’s a fuse box under the hood and 2 on each side door. But, where do I replace a fuse?!? My power source is out on both cigarette lighters, the USB ports, and the auxiliary charge. Do I use 15A, 20A, or 50 fuse to replace?? Your assistance is greatly appreciated!!
mikeyk101 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Not sure what model you have but on my 2016 with middle jump seat, the USB fuse and the power inverter fuses are in right side fuse panel. Fuse #27 is for USB and power inverter is fuse #35. I only have one power port/cig lighter on mine and that fuse is in left side fuse panel, Fuse #12. I do not know what amps each fuse is but I would recommend replacing them with same amperage fuse you already find in there. 1
AzChevyGuy Posted June 29, 2024 Author Posted June 29, 2024 hello I have a 2014; sorry I didn't know you had responded earlier. So, I suppose I can try replacing the fuses as you mention in the front left and right. Would these be 15A fuses? Also, I did see a 50A fuse that some website said to look out for. Maybe I can try to include a picture if you would like to look at it. Thank you very much for your help.

davester Posted June 19, 2025 Posted June 19, 2025 (edited) owners manual. free pdf download from gm's website. has a nice table for each of the fuse boxes, listed what all the fuses are for, as well as their amps. Edit: table in book may not have fuse amps, diagrams on fuse box covers do have their amps. Edited June 19, 2025 by davester
