Add front camera

Any idea how to add a front camera to the 13.4" infotainment? I assume the system has input options for a front camera. There must be some harness to allow both rear and front camera. I don't know though if the software would recognize a front camera if it didn't come with one.

 

I did the same on my previous Jeep and Tacoma, but the aftermarket for those is huge. All the hardware was supplied, including howto videos on youtube, instructions on forums etc. 

 

Any input would be appreciated.

Short answer no.

 

The 360 surround cameras (front, rear and mirrors) are all handled and processed via the Video Processing Module.  Trucks that only have just a backup camera won't have the VPM and all the wiring.  

 

Trucks with just the rear camera its all handled via the radio only.
