2024 GMC Elevation 5.3 w/10 speed transmission. Reverse issues

Have a new 24 GMC Elevation. Within 3 days of buying it I began having issues with the transmission staying in reverse on occasion.  You can put it in reverse and the shifter reverse indicator lights up, but as soon as you release the shifter it goes back into neutral. Bought it on a Friday and carried it back to the dealer on Tuesday.  They kept it overnight and called the next day saying they couldn’t “duplicate the issue” so I picked it back up.  Did the same thing after I picked it up so carried it back to the dealer the next day.  They kept it 19 days this time and said they changed the shift control module and reprogrammed something.  Still the same issue. Anyone had a similar issue?

I have a 2024 LTZ with less than 3,000 miles and it’s done the same thing a few times.

add me to the list.  2024 GMC Denali 1500 with 5.3L and 10 speed.  Just a basic commuter truck no towing or hauling.  Just came home from dinner and reverse is gone.  Truck just revs up.  Tried shifting back & forth.  Shut it off & started.  Same issue.  Left it out in the driveway so I don't have to push it out.  Unreal.  First new vehicle I've bought since 2009.  Ironically never had any issues when I was driving Jeep/Chrysler vehicles

well my truck finally got diagnosed at the dealer and they are ordering a new (hopefully upgraded) valve body.... dealer said it's on back order and no ETA....  so we'll see!

3 weeks later, no update on my truck.  They have no ETA for the replacement valve body parts.  Seems bizarre to have no clue if it's 2 weeks or 2 months.

finally got my truck back.  Took over a month to get the part and get it installed

Given the apparent failure rate of the 10 speed valve bodies it is astonishing that it still, after all this time, takes so long to get one.
