03 Tahoe

My 03 Tahoe would not start. Lights and electrical were all good. It was like it wasnt getting any gas. Read the manual and stuck my foot in the gas pedal and started it that way. Any ideas? It has been starting fine ever since that. Thanks.

sounds like maybe something w/ the computer. Did you mash the pedal 3 times? I know doing that will reset the oil life monitor. If you do your own oil changes, and don't reset the monitor, maybe after a while it will lock something up? I'd call the stealer. If it's an '03, should be under warranty still unless you drive like mad.

Nope, just held the pedal down to start. Sorry, what is IAC?

Maybe that triggers the computer to flood the motor to attempt to start. The injectors wouldnt fire due to eletronic fuel injection. I dont know.

Sound like fuel pump. Should still be under warrently. Call dealer and have them tow it.

It started and has been starting since that happened. Just a glitch maybe? Hope it doesn't happen again.

Oh yeah, I got in my 01 HD and the freakin SES light is on!
