04 2500HD Silverado, 6.0 4L80e, 2WD. Just started shifting hard when warmed up, shifts smooth as silk until it gets warmed up, shift points are right on, it just bangs into the next gear. Trailer mode makes no difference. Haven't scanned it yet, any ideas? Also a couple times coming to a stop it felt like the converter wasn't fully unlocked, not enough to stall the engine but it felt like it was dragging and the idle increased to prevent a stall I think. As always it needs to be scanned for accurate diagnosis

so  finally had a chance to scan it today, PO717 input/turbine sensor A circuit no signal, Looked at UTube, if it is just the sensor it looks like an easy fix. I'm guessing it is just the sensor where it was temperature related when the problem started, it does it all the time now. I will post the results when I get a chance to work on it, Monsoon rain tomorrow and I got too much crap in the garage to get it inside so I will clean the garage instead. The car is acting up, has a misfire and new clunk in the front end, I bought an 06 GMC 2500HD plow truck for $500, all the lines on the fuel pump are rotted off so I removed the bed and started to replace the brake lines, exhaust hangers etc. Not enough hours in the day!!
