Chad H Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Hey guys, Yesterday got an alignment shop to put in my new Ford Keys. I got to lift the truck perfectly level with the back. Actually the front may be a 1/4" higher than the back. But, I still have to add some stuff to the front so it should level out. As far as the way it looks, I love it. I will take some pics this weekend and show ya'll. But, I just have one question. Will these cause any pre-mature wear of parts?
03GMC2500HD Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Might get only 120K miles instead of 140K miles out of some parts! To answer your question most likely not. No one has stated any premature parts failures due to swapping the keys. A lot of people have been running them for several years and well over 100K miles. Enjoy the new look!

I love it!! Now, I just need a set of 16x8 wheels and 305's.
Jim Brimhall Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 By putting in Ford keys, does that do anything to the warranty? Thanks Jim

ChevyHDGert Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Regarding warranty....no one will ever know you have different keys.
