Decal/Badge Removal

So I thought I'd try removing the Z71 badges myself; bad idea... The wheel eraser left behind marks in the paint; anyone know if this will buff out with a polisher? I don't know what went wrong or if maybe its because I have black paint...

Thanks but I think it’s less of a scratch and more like burnt paint…

For sure try a buffer with a level 4-5 compound, then go over that with a polish/wax.

Thanks! I have a orbital polisher Ill just have to pick up the appropriate pad etc.
