Question for the forum...

How many can say that this GM message below has actually helped?  That you got feedback and assistance from this message?  Interested to hear experiences good or bad.

This is not the first thread on this very subject.  Iirc, the overwhelming majority were negative responses.  A few have been positive.  Personally, I never followed the instructions they gave, sent the message they requested how they requested, and never heard a word back.

GM uses the customer as R&D now. Don't  fool yourself. The largest GM dealer in Fort Wayne In. charges you to check vehicle customer complaints  with the vehicle  under warrenty Total Bs . They will also sell you a vehicle warrenty that runs out  when the factory warrenty  does. What kind of honest company does this? Be carefully when dealing with GM.

These people have no authority or power to do anything for you. They are simply there to placate you. Suggesting that they pointed out resources or contacts to the dealer is ridiculous, the dealers are well aware of the slim resources they have for problem cases and although I am no big fan of most dealers they are limited by GM's policies.
