Adding footwell light

I have 2024 Silverado RST 4 wheel drive 5.3L V8. I am wanting to add footwell lights in the cab. I want the lights to come on and off like the dome light does. I have been researching this and really not getting a clear answer where i can tie into to make this happen. I was looking at the K9 body connector #3 but not really sure if that is correct. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance.

BCM X1 pin #1.  It is the same spot that is used for illuminated door sills for refresh GM trucks.

@Low Down is correct, there is a GM document for the door sill upgrade. Thats where you can get the dome lamp power for the lights. You will need a "Molex" pin to place in the block for the power. I have posted on it several times. Accessing the block is very hard since its under the dash and the farthest one forward. Correct orientation of the Molex pin is very important.
