That's a tough one bro.

 

You may want to try checking salvage yards close to you with knowledge of what vehicles are compatible to your needs because most people who have D-60 stuff know what it's worth and it is expensive to ship.

 

You may be able to find a little known salvage yard that may cut you a better than expected deal for they may not realize the value or you can always check for listings on ebay that are within driving distance to you.Trust me,I just picked up a very nice axle assembly that will be going in my ZR2 for a really good price and I was able to spend a day driving to pick it up.

 

I'll keep my eyes and ears open but I already know of 4 people in my immediate area looking for basically what you are and they aren't having much luck finding their needs at a decent price.People who rock crawl are snatching up 60 housings that need to be totally reworked as quick as they can find them.

Yeah I know what you mean, D60's are kinda rare, I have been trying to get a friend of mine to give me the hoockup on some military axles, either the D60's, or the 2.5 ton axles. He says he can get the 2.5 for 200 a piece... But those may be too big.

Actually I'm near Houston but my in laws are in Lufkin.

 

I know our ZR2 group has been thinking of organizing a ride to Shiloh but I don't think any specifics have been hashed as of yet.

 

I'll let you know more when I find out.
