new truck owner

hey all

sold my jeep this weekend and got a 2002 gmc 2500 LD use to be my pop's but he got a navigator. 6.0 4l80 tranny. this thing rocks. i will try to get pics up tomorrow. anything i should know about it. going this weekend to get cab lights put on it. it has a voyager brake controller in it does anyone know where i can find litature on it.

congrats on the new truck. im getting rid of my jeep too and getting a silverado 1500...i still need to find a decent one though . but good luck. tell us how u like the truck compared to your jeep.

well im 21 and had my cherokee since i was 16 my sis got it when it was new and hse had it for a year till i got it from her. that thing was my baby and i still miss it. the people that bought it are really cool and they are going to send me some pics of it as it grows bigger.

now on to the truck

all i can say is wow this thing is awsome. its freakin fast. looks great and is huge compared to the jeep. i havent even gone through my first take of gas yet just filled it up monday nigth am trying to sell the topper off of it i cant stand it back there. if anyone is interested in that let me know. its also posted in the forsale part of this page.

mods i am getting done friday listed below

cab lights with dullie rear lights below tailgate

k & n drop in

custom pin stripe to match pewter bottom with gmc logo in it

husky liners (these are life savers had a set in the jeep)

torsion bar cranked to 1 inch (to make it more level)

i will be taking pictures of it before and after the mods and some close ups of the pin stripping i will post when i get them all finished
