Hey guys. I am currently dealing with engine knock after changing lifter 1.

Full story:

My truck started running rough one day while on the highway. Real sluggish, and lacking power. I also got a flashing check engine light. Tested it and got p0301. Checked the lifters and 1 was collapsed. Swapped it, checked the cam, and there was no damage, so I put everything back together.

Started it up and I have a knocking sound. Keep in mind I had no sounds before.

Does anybody have any idea what this could be?

  Can you see airbag module data? If you can, buckle the belt and see if the data set shows that the belt is buckled. If its showing that it is not buckled on the data but its physically buckled, then it probably needs the buckle.

  I scanned it with my FoxWell NT 630+, which is supposed to be able to catch seat belt warnings, and got nothing.

  Seat belts don't work without the seat. Don't ask me how I know

  I hadn’t seen this one posted here but may have missed it. https://www.mdpi.com/2075-4442/9/8/74 Just so I’m not burying the lede… 0w16 yes, but 0w20 wouldn’t fair much better. Still can’t figure out why everything is an oil burner?!? 🤣
