2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Transmission Issues

Having transmission problems with my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. The truck has only 24000 km's on it and the transmission control valve failed three weeks ago. The dealership repaired it after two weeks of sitting at the dealership then yesterday it failed again. Check engine light came one, reduced acceleration message on the dash and no reverse. Back in the dealership and of course no loaner vehcile to give me. Paying $70K for a new truck to get peace of mind seemed like a good idea, I had a hell of a lot less problems with my 2005 Dodge Ram.

There seems to be recalls in the USA for GMC Sierra transmissions and earlier years in Canada. Seems that there should be a new one for 2023 and newer.

Did they replace the valve body? Is it an 8 speed?

They are replacing the valve body now, I believe they replaced a screen or something along those lines. No its a 10 speed

We had two get new spacer plates only to end up needing valve bodies. Both had at least one screen in the plate blown out. Happened during the cold snap we had.

I had my valve body replaced on mine at 33,000 it is thec8 speed. I thought the 8 speeds were bad for valve bodys?
