Ive seen that there is support for the Surround Vision recording in the SUV's but why doesnt it work in the Silverado's? I have the Surround Vision Cameras and basically all the packages you can put on the LTZ truck. I cant find or enable the 'Recorder' anywhere that i can see in the system. I can see the USB thumb drive if i go to the audio selection, and i can play mp3 files from it, BUT if i plug the usb thumb drive in and go to my notifications tab, the system tells me that the drive is not correctly formatted. Ive tried dozens of different ways to format the drive and i always get that error. Ive tried this in ALL usb ports, and bought a new usb-c 3.2 drive and still have the same issue. Anyone else get this to work on the HD trucks?

I have the exact same problem. No USB drive passes the "correctly formatted" alert, but they are all readable. Every once in a while the truck will build a directory structure onto the drive. Also I've been hearing that the Surround Video Record has been deploying to the Tahoe's and Suburban's, Why not the trucks?

It is not supported on the trucks. Period.

You mean it's not supported yet in the trucks. The hardware is certainly there. The software just needs updated.

Sure...but there is no "update" to be had.  GM has not issued any support for this.
