Searched and haven’t found the answer.  I have a 2026 Denali with the 22” wheels with 275/50.  I’d like to fill out the wheel wells more and lose the crappy Bridgestones.  Looking at the Michelin LTX M/S in 295/55.  Adds about 0.8” in width and height.  Has anyone fit these with the stock wheels, no lift/no spacers, and with no rubs or mods?

I could do without any additional width…just looking for height.  But I don’t need an A/T tire, and I can’t find a 285/50 or 285/55 in anything other than an A/T.  Nobody makes a 275/55,  and a 285/60 is only available in an E tire and I’m not mounting a 60# tire.  A 275/60 is a 35” tire and I think that would be too tall to not cause a problem.

Before you get too deep in this you might first check if your dealer can reprogram speedo/odo for the tire size/diameter you want to use.

Larger diameter tires are going to throw the speedo/odo off; actual speed will be higher than reported speed, actual miles traveled with be higher than reported miles traveled. Could be the basis of a warranty denial.

GM will only allow dealers to reprogram for factory sizes.

I’m not too concerned about that.  I’ve usually gone up a size or two in my trucks since I think most mfgs undersize stock tires.  I do the math and know what I’m getting into.  But it’s a moot point if they don’t fit.  I can see that the upper control arm fit is pretty tight.  But I’m not going the spacer route.

Note, they can void the warranty for your truck if you put on tires w a different size without reprogramming the truck for that new tire size, as the odometer is no longer accurately recording distance.  This is explicitly mentioned in the warranty documentation.

Got it.  I appreciate the warnings, guys.

Does anyone know if they fit?  Lots of posts up here about tire swaps and lifts/aftermarket wheels.  I just want to know what works on a stock setup.

You dont have many options. the 295/55 are 12.2" and will most likely need a min 3/8 spacer to be safe as you will be fairly close to the upper control arm. And that maybe cutting it close even with that TBO. your adding 1/2 of tire to that side of the tire. measure the distance now and see how close you are to the arm. I am not sure on your offset for the stock 22 but thinking it is +28mm and if it is then you will need  3/8 or 1/2 spacer. That specific 35 is only 11 inch. That will most likely require trimming and will be a tight squeze. Go to a 20 and your options open up or something like this would work

Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 LT265/60R22

its 34.5 x 10.7 ...  half inch less wider than your current setup and 2 inches taller
