Higher oil pressure after DFM shut off

Can anyone explain why the oil pressure runs higher after the DFM is shut off?  just installed the Pulsar Lt.

You mean besides the obvious, that the dfm lifters aren't using any oil to enable/disable them (they stay enabled, and behave like a conventional hydraulic lifter).
