Stock Chevy truck wheel "OFFSET"

I have a 2004 Checy 2500HD P/U and would like to find out the off set of the wheel. I have a chance to pick up a set of nice custom wheels and want to make sure the off set is close to what is needed

5.5" on the 17" Denali wheels on my C3. I would think the others are the same but can't say for sure.

The set of wheels I am looking at have a -21mm (negative offset)

I think you should look for backspacing as well as offset for your new rims. I believe that the HD aluminum rims are 4.5 inches for back spacing. I would try to get as close as that as possible. The tire size you plan to run also plays a part too..
