Getting A Hitch This Week..

Reese makes a good one.  I added one to my '99 and was really happy with it.  There was no drilling on that particular model, but I'm not sure if it will be the same case on your ZR2.

I recently helped a friend put a Valley on his '94 Ranger, and it seemed to be of very good quality.  Pretty easy to install on his truck.  Had to drill two holes to install it.  He's been happy with it.

I've heard of people having good luck with both Reese and Valley brand hitches.  I don't know much about Class III hitches though, I normally look at the Class IV & V stuff.

Always had good luck with all of Reese's products except hitch balls.  They seem to cut and scratch easier than other ones, but everyting else is ok.  My current truck had the factory hitch (which was nice).  Whatcha planning to tow, by the way?

I've only had Valley hitches on my last 5 trucks. Wouldn't put on another hitch unless I had to.

Just my opinion

Well, I'd suggest my favorite hitch, but I think it may be slightly overkill for your application.   ;)   Other than a DMI though I have no bumper hitch experience.

I knew that was going to be coming before too long.   :)   I'm not sure I'd recommend it for an S-10 though, just the weight of the hitch might squat the back end too much.   ;)

Yes Paco, if you take a look at this thing you will see why it just won't quite cut it on a S-10!  Its the only bumper I'll ever run on a truck.

Ya just a little too big for what i need.. LOL

I didnt want a Class 2 like they wanted me to get.. They said my truck couldnt handle it.. I told them they make a class 3 hitch for my truck so thats what i want..

Its a hidden hitch.. Not too bad for pricing either.. It goes on friday morning..

Thanks for all the tips guys!!
