Favorite Wax?

I tried Meguires Gold Class, Turtle Wax Emarald and super plain, generic Kit Caranuba Car Wax today and Kit just seemed to be the best.

I still have two other Meguires wax's to use over the Kit, we'll se how that goes later.

What say you? Got any good suggestions?

I'll be the first, but more than likely not the last to recommend Zaino products. A couple weeks ago, I clay bar'd and sprayed some Z-6 (Quick Detailer) on the truck, and the thing is back to beading like crazy! The last time I waxed it was I think August of last year! Plus there is not white waxy dust from the stuff, so I don't have to worry about getting it on black trim and stuff. Pricy but worth it. Griot's Garage also has really top notch stuff. I used to use Gold Class. A few years back I tried Klasse. I can only find it on-line. Imported from Germany, pricey but provides an awesome shine and last a good long time.

Recently Meguiar's introduced NXT Generation Tech Wax. Can't speak on longevity but it looks as good as the Klasse, IMO, and is some kind of slick! Plus it beads, one drawback to Klasse for me, it didn't bead, had to use a detail spray to get the rain to bead up.

Sure you'll hear a lot about Zaino, can't speak for it but seems everyone that's tried it has nothing but good words. In the long run whatever works best for you and gives you the results you want. Happy hunting!

I tried Gold class, didn't do anything for my vehicles.... dunno why. I use this stuff called like "Z-Best Wax" my dad buys at the fair every yr, it work d**n good. They've got a website, dunno it off hand

I like the Meguiars Yellow Wax myself. But, Zymol is also very good.

Haven't tried the platinum Turtle wax, but other turtle wax I've tried has sucked.

Also, I don't like Mothers wax.

I work at an auto parts store, so I usually try a lot of different products.

Gold Class works very well for me. I also had used some Eagle 1 Wax as You Dry each time I washed/dried the truck. Apparently you can use Meguiars Quick Wax the same way- put it on when wet and drying.

I use zaino topped off with a coat of p21s carnuba, that really brings out the sheen.

Zaino!!

Been using it for 7yrs and LOVE it!! Had 4 coats on it last Oct 03 and went 8months over the winter with nothing but car washes and some Z6 detail spray and it still beads and shines like the day I did it! That's durability! A lot of products out there shine like Zaino, but Zaino stands out as the most durable at keeping that shine and protection!

The dealer I bought my truck from had a guy use a buffer on my truck, needless to say the guy had no clue what he was doing and there were swirls all over my truck, I have used quite a few waxes, never expecting they would come out. I tried Meguiars next generation stuff and my truck looks like new!!! Awesome stuff!!!
