Newbie Polish Question

Hey Guys I am new to polishing my vehicle, been waxing for years but never polished.

 

With that being said, I have a 10" orbital and the terry clothe head and wool head. When you apply Polish with the orbital buffer do you apply it with the terry cloth head then switch out to the wool to work the polish in?

 

Or do you apply the polish by hand and work it in with the Wool head?

 

Please help me over this learning curve, I want to do this Saturday morning.

With the Craftsman buffers I've used in the past, you apply and remove the polish/wax with the terrycloth bonnets and use the lamb's wool bonnet to buff after removing wax residue.
