a/c light

My fan blows cold air whenever I turn it on. It doesn't matter if the A/C light is on or off. It could be 90 degrees outside and my fan blows cold air even if the a/c light is not on. It's not a big deal now since summer is here, but I don't want my air conditioner working in the winter when I use my heater.

 

Anyone else have this problem? I have 34,000 miles on a 2002 Tahoe LS, 5.7

It will do that in Recirc, AC light on or off

The A/C also come on when you switch to defrost too.
