another exhaust ?

I was talking to the local exhaust shop and he said he runs 2.25 pipe out the back and will put stainless tips on if I want, my question is with the 2.25 pipe will the size of the tips make a difference as far as low-end power loss ?

No. I have 2.25 dual outs out the back with like 3" stainless tips about 12" long. In my opinion, it looks really nice and slightly amplifies the exhaust tone.

I agree with AZ-Z71. I had the same set-up on my ZR2 and it looked and sounded great!

The tip is only for looks and sound (if that). I have a single out 2.75 pipe and 3" tip, 12" long. It has a nice look and great sound.Stainless Steel is the best I have found. The polished aluminum takes alot of work. My .03

Tips have nothing to do with performance, it's basically a looks thing. A HUGE like 4" by 24" long tip can make a slight difference in tone, but nothing extreme.

do you tow stuff? it so what and how often?

About all I really tow is a 2 place snowmobile trailer and 2 sleds maybe 1400lbs.

enclosed? If you do tow one of the v nose sled trailers you should be ok but if its a clam shell or flat front, having the exhaust come straight out the back will give you some resonance and or more interior noise.

think about bringing the tips out at one or both corners
