Cat plugged?

I have a 98 chevy k1500 with 60 k. this spring my distribitor cap went bad and I drove it for about 3 hours over 3 days limping it to school and then an hour home. I got it fixed and then I got the code for catlyst performace down, had it scaned and found the O2 sensors bad, however it ran fine, I just figured the raw gas ruined the sensors, but there was no noticable performance loss with the bad sensors, I put changing the sensors off for about 3 months and then finaly got around to changing them, I changed the rear one on bank 2 first and then i changed both front ones at the same time, and then I changed the back one on bank 1. I still get the same code, and I smell raw gas when I start it now. I drive about 2 hours every day, half city stop and go and the other half freeway. Is my cat done for? is it plugged, my mpg was running about 16 and now its about 17 so whats the deal? anyting will help, thanks.
