Wheel spacers

Anyone have any experience with the aluminum wheels spacers from Performance products? I like the look of my stock wheels, I just want 'em to sit a little further out.

Never used them and don't know much about them but the farther you move the tire and wheel from the spindle (front) the harder it is on the rest of the front end components. Considering the amount they add (less than an inch I assume) I don't think it would be much worse than adding a fairly larger tire. Just my two cents.
