Trying out my new Video/Digital Camera

ALright, I finally got me another digital camera, and this one can make short AVI movies... It's a Canon Powershot A75.

Anyways, this is a short video I made of my truck on take off, with the tow-haul mode on. I mention this, because I had Wester's change the settings for the tow-haul in mine to be similar to a shift kit, and have nice firm/quick shifts while still holding it in gear until a higher rpm. This was mainly to see how much power I can put to the ground in 1st with my measly 3.42 rear gear though... I start off light, then go to about 3/4 throttle about 3000 Rpm's or so... It breaks the right rear loose and starts to spin/hop for a few seconds. Sort of strange sounding, but I thought it was pretty good for such a light rear end gear. I'll probably make some more videos this weekend, if I can figure out a way to mount the camera where I don't have to hold it. It makes me drunk trying to watch them now. lol

If I get to keep the truck, I'll probably go ahead and go with that 4.10 rear gear swap with an eaton unit, I have a feeling that would be a whole lot of fun. :jester:

Anyways, here it is, let me know what you guys think.

EDIT: Changed it to a directory, the file name is MVI_0287.AVI

Directory: http://www.msdelta.net/~armstrong/truckvids/

Hmmmmm....My firewall starts screaming when I try and play that. :jester:

Ehh, maybe it doesn't like trying to stream it. Here at work I just download it watch it from the file on the PC. Yeah, my firewall here is barking too when I try and watch it by streaming...

Alright, sorry about that. I don't know if it's that type of file or what, but my firewall catches every kind of .avi I can find if I stream it.

Try going to the directory, and saving it (Right Click, then "Save as" (for some who might not know)), then viewing it.

Thanks man, I was skeptical about the magnaflow when I got it because of a long history with flowmasters, but I think it turned out great!

I watch that video pretty often that you captured to make the pic in your sig,

good stuff! Your truck sounds like an old muscle car, even more badass that its coming from an S10!!! :jester:
