Folks-

Word may be out to the general public already, but if it's not I learned from a Chevy dealer in Upstate NY that the 0% for 60 month financing program has been extended through 11/15/01.

I wonder does this apply to the Avalanche. I thought that it was only 0% for 36 months. If this is the case I may be heading down even sooner. I think I need to help out the economy some. :D

My dealer said it is 0% for 60 months only on passenger cars. 0% for 36 months on trucks, 2.9% for 48 months, or 4.9% for 60 months. This was on 2001 models. The interest rates on 2002 models were a bit different, but still discounted. The only problem I see is that they are keeping the price tag up, hardly any rebates, and bringing the interest rate down. If you think about it, you aren't really saving anything over a normal sale year.

Read the post. You'll get the details. Some of the stuff you guys posted isn't correct.

It goes to the 18th, not the 15th. :D
