Warranty HELP!

I'm taking my '02 Sierra in for warranty work this week before the 3 yr. term is up. What should I check out before taking it in? Any help from those who are in the know would be appreciated.

While your at the dealer get the extendid warrenty by all means.

I'd check for the steering intermediate shaft clunk and dash peeling...very common problems. Check your ebrake operation also.

Foam padding around the driver/passenger shoulder seat belts - mine unglued itself or something and started pulling away.

Definitely the intermediate shaft.

Check your brakes for scoring and abnormal pad wear. My rear brakes were screwed up after only 20k or so.

That's about all I can think of - just hope your emission system isn't waiting til 3 yrs + 1 day to start acting up. They already fixed 2 separate parts of mine way before the 36k mark. I'm now into extended warranty territory for the next 60k
