funny thing is it wasn't an owner it was a factory big wig on a joy ride. he went for help when a GM factory worker happend upon it, fortunatly he had his digital camera. worst part it's on the rear page of the new hotrod mag.

I happen to think that when someone does something they aren't supposed to do, and they know they aren't (like taking a car like that) and they get what they deserve is quite humorous.

anyone got the full story behind that?

ouch, but looks like it could be alright after they get a new hood front clip/bumper-cover on

I did some "research" and made a couple of calls. The driver of the car worked for a supplier, not Ford Motor Company. She was on an on ramp and the car got a little "squirrely". That's the word from my source...

It was most likely not a production car (ie, it was pre-production, test car) and as such it was destined for the car crusher anyway.

hmmm.... No on ramp. Looks like a country road w/ cross street 100 yrds back.

And I didn't know that workers of suppliers for ford got to tool around in prototype vehicles. on the back of hotrod(were I saw it) they were none too clear on exactly what happened Looks like it gets really loose when ya hit second though. Quite a nice set of black marks. :chevy: Whoever did it tried to get most the mud off before headin for help.
