REAR LOCKERS

My tb has the locking read diff, it has the G80 code in the glove box, is it suppose to engage in reverse? I was backing up my back yard last night to get my pop-up out and then the rear wheel on the drivers side started to spin, (should have gotten 4x4) but I finally managed to get it the rest of the way up the yard, and when I got out I notices the the wheel on the passanger side had not spun. Is this correct or could there be something wrong?

I have the same Rear. From what I understand when the wheel spins it engages a pin to engage the other wheel. In reverse the pin does not catch.

I wonder why that is, I guess they figure if you are going backards you don't need both wheels. what a bummer, I guess I should have probably spent a little more and got the 4wd, I didn't think that I really needed it, oh well.
