What do you guys/gals think? What do you like more?  What one would you think would provide the best value, functionability, and style?

I will never own an SUV again, but you are also much less likely an Avalanche in my driveway.  I think you would like the Trailblazer best, and the way you talk I think you've already talked yourself into thinking that is the best one for you.

Neither one has much value right now to me (both are too expensive), so this is going on looks alone.  The Trailblazer looks great, and the Avalanche looks well.....  Not to mention the Trailblazer gets that sweet Vortec 4.2 I6......

???

Two completely different vehicles, two different user groups and uses.

I like both, equally but the Trailblazer is too small for my purposes, as I will require almost all of the Avalanche 2500's 12,000 tow capacity. I have a suburban, and am looking to trade it for the Avalanche to upgrade utility and towing.  If I was looking for stricktly a family hauler with good miliage and a great engine & looks, I would probably run with the Trailblazer.

If you're looking for us to provide insight for a new mode of transportation, sorry, but I can't help ya too much.  You'd need a BOTH option in the poll for me to vote...  Both are absolutely awesome, both have their highs and lows (more highs though)...   Lucky for me that my wife said if we could ever afford them both, she'd love to own the Trailblazer for herself since I'd want the "utability" of the Avalanche  :(

I would take the Trailblazer but then it's all a looks thing for me. I don't think the Avalanches are going to be offered for too many years. For a couple thousand more you can get a Sierra Denali.

guess again; the Denali is atleast $5000 more then the most expensive Avalanch. The Denali is up there with the Escalade in price.

I'm going with the Avalanche on this one.

You can spen a few extra hundred dollars and have the grey molding painted body color and it looks great plus for me it would serve more of a purpose.

I can see the use of a Trailblazer but it's not quite enough for me.

I went with the Avalanche also because I would get more "truck type" use out of it.

I would really like to see what one would look like with the current Silverado front end.  Anybody good at editing photos want to take this on? :(

I think both vehicle would be great to own..

I really like what they did with the trailblazer with the looks and the added bonus of the V8.. If i wasnt going to do any work with it i would get it..

But I like many pickup owners depend on that pickup box and now that i ve had a chance to own a pickup truck for myself i m not going back to anything else..

So my vote would go to the avalanche

I chose the Avalanche because I needed the flexibility to have a pickup also.  If you also have a pickup then the Trailblazer could make more sense.  Our other vehicle is a Suburban so we definitely needed something that could be a pickup, but we love the fact that we can take the Avalanche on trips also because it has lots of room to store stuff.

You can not get a V-8 in the Trailblazer. Atleast not until the come out with the three seat version next year.

I have heard that is a possibility.
