A new GMC comes to our driveway Monday!!!

My brother thinks he lost a rod in his CJ7 earlier this week, so he decided it's an excuse to get his new truck.

It's going to be an 04 Sierra Summit White, reg. cab short box, Either the 4.3 or 4.8, depending on whether my cousin can find a 4.3 w/ the 5 spd, which so far he hasn't. I think it's the LS, my dad said it's got a/c and "power crap" so it's going to be a decent little rig. At first my brother was looking at Canyons, and my dad told him he'd loan the down payment just to spend a few extra grand and have a half ton to tow the Sprint Car if he ever needs to do it alone.

Not sure on the price yet, but w/ the rebates from GM and GMAC, it takes $5k off total. After we get the rebate, my dads just going to refinance it through the same place as the 00, so the interest isnt so high.

I know, I know...I'll get pics. I've got pics of the 00 too, just need to get off my arse and develop them

He's going to love that truck Dolan.I have very little in that way of complaints (torque management) in my '04 to this point and am 100% pleased that I bought it.

My birthday is coming up on Friday, so I'll try to get a "cheap" one if I've got enough left after a new muffler for the 00 and a new stereo. I only nead a cheapo so I can at least get SOME pics up pics. Otherwise, I'll develop the disposable and get the Picture CD, lol.

And Frank, he seems to be in love with it already! He drove an 03 reg. cab w/ the 4.8 and he loved the way it rode, the power he said kicked arse, and the tranny was incredibly smooth. From the way it sounds though, he's going to end up w. the 4.8 anyways, which he said he likes since he can "flow dat bitch"
