I don't know if anyone has posted this pic yet, but for those who haven't seen it here it is...

 

It's 4WD, weighs over 14K lbs, can tow 40K lbs, gets 7 MPG on diesel fuel, and costs between $90,000 and $115,000.

:lol: Is that a misprint, or it the type of mileage that trucks like this usually see? I can certainly see that number for the light duty trucks, but the big rigs?

They were showing that off in the Trucks magazine about a year ago. If I remember right you need a special license to drive it being it is over 26K GVWR

 

 

 

 

That's not entirely true, cause (In VA atleast), you don't need the CDL til it hits 35K GVWR, or somewhere around that mark.

 

The thing you need to worry about though is whether the brakes are Air or Hydraulic.

The article claimed that was the law, not sure where they were basing it on tho... They said they can also "derate" so you don't need a CDL for it...
