OMFG!!!

These things are incredible!!!!! I paid $145 after tax on sale, got the 6x9" DB's (db690 is the p/n). I SO need to get my deck in this weekend!!! Even with the stock head unit though, they sound SO much better! Clarity is incredible, the bass responce is fairly decent, although the stock h.u BLOWS overall. The quality of these things in awesome! Out of all the speakers at C.C., they were the best bang for the buck. I figured if I was going to spend a little, I'd buy a lot with what I was budgeting with! And I was RIGHT on the moolah!!! I couldn't be ahppier.

My brother's got a basically brand new deck from his CJ he no longer needs, so he gave it to me for my bday. I can't wait to get it in, then get my 4x6's installed! Around Xmas time, I'll go and upgrade my deck, get a new 5 ch., and boost these babies. Everyone who reviewed them said you can't even hear their real potential until you power them w/ at least 100w. I can't wait! Screw subs, THIS ROCKS!!! :D:D:D:D:lol::cheers::smash::smash:

Well, I got a new head unit in

It's a Pioneer, not sure the model, but 50w X 4, it works pretty goofd though, I'm borriwing it from my brother until I decide to buy a new one so I have dual pre-amps out to run my 5 channel for a 10" and my front/rear speakers. And the deck I'm using doesn't have very many equlizer settings, and I like to custom tune it, so a new deck will be soon.

They sound awesome overall though. The clarity is great, the mids and highs are superb. Bass, I complain about, but only because like I said, I'm limited on settings. It's there, just not as much as these things should have.

Once I get an amp and the front 4x6's,, I will rock the world with these! I'm in love with them. I've got kids at my school who have the Kenwood Excellons, Bostons, etc, and I can STILL show them up when it comes to clarity, which is exactly what I wanted!!!:sigh::)
