Although I am not completely done, here are some pictures of what I got so far in my extended cab '04 Sierra.

I am not sure if I like the sound the factory deck puts out with the factory speakers but I will keep trying to adjust it. I just can't find a happy medium yet for the bass.

Some list of supplies for people interested.

20' 4 gauge power cable (more then enough to run from the fuse box on the fender to middle of the seat). There was what looked to be a center punched mark to the right and up a little of where what main wiring harness goes through the firewall on the drivers side. I just drilled it out and remove the rubber plug in the inside of the firewall. Way to go GM you did something right!!!!

Various wire connectors.

A AOEM-GM24 PAC brand LOC (found online for about $40)

(Still want to add a PAC TR-4 trigger to keep the amp on after the key is off.)

A subbox off ebay for 10" subs for about $65 shipped. I modded it to fit the '04 it was too high and the seat wouldn't lock. While modding it I cut the middle out for my amp. Didn't hurt the sound quality too much.

The guy at the local stereo place said to tap power from the fuse box on the fender so I hooked into my trailer power post since I doubt I will hook a trailer up to my truck.

Other stuff includes previous used amp (Punch 100) and 2 10" subs out of my old truck. I also used my old Alpine EQ that help adjust the bass since the LOC and amp adustments are for the most part turn all the way down and the bass still was too much for me.
