Just got a set myself,

 

Don't forget to get the Rebate cupon when you get them, also I think you may be able to print it from Rancho's web site.

 

The cupon I have says 6-8 weeks for processing.

6 to 8 weeks is kind of long but for free, its worth the wait...

 

Would it make sense to wait and install the controller and shocks all together, or are they unraleted as far as the installation goes?

If you could wait that probably would be the best plan of attack,

As for myself I use my truck daily for business, I have 35K on my 2003 and felt I needed to replace the OEM shocks to regain the ride quality.

 

I installed the adjustment knobs/valving where they are easily accesable front and back, with the tires on, so I can install the kit easily when I get it.

 

I aslo installed the shocks, new tires, alignment, and oil change as part of my Fall/pre winter maintenance.
