What to lift the front with?

Hi all, im new to suspension lifts(i have only done body lifts). But i have a 2wd 2004 GMC Sierra reg cab and i want to lift the front end up 2" to level it out. But all i could find was 2" coil spring spacers. But i heard that they make the ride hard as hell! My question is should i go with the coil spring spacers or something else? :D

Thanks,

Mike :D:crazy:

Since it's a 2WD, why don't you just lower the back 2" instead of raising the front? Buy you a set of 2" blocks for about $20, put 'em above your rear leaf springs, and you've got a level truck that'll look better...

That would only work if the axle was above the spring too. I don't it is on 2wd.

The axle IS above the springs on 2WD trucks....

Alls u have to is just crank your torsion bars up its just to bolts and u wont need new shocks or anything it gives about 1 3/4 lift at a comfortable spot and that should b close enouph

the Fabtech spindles are the way to go. The truck in my sig, has the spindles and is running on 33" tires. 2wd 1500s don't have torsion bars, and the spring is above the axle.
