It snowed!!!

It snowed about 3 inches last night.  Unfortunately, its suppose to heat up to 40deg and melt and the fun away.

Snow?  What the hell is that?  All we have is mud, mud, and more mud.  It is supposed to freeze up next week, so that will sure help things up.  I've seen three different private forecasts that are saying to look out after Christmas because we are going to get slammed with winter.

It was snowing as I was coming into Wheaton this morning on the train and lasted until about Melrose Park.  Once we got into Chicago, it was all rain again.

They got a light dusting of snow about 50miles north of here on Weds night, just enough to make the ground white.  It was gone by 9:00am though.  It wasn't even close to being cold enough to snow here, I think it only got down to about 40F that night.

 

I'm just worried we are going to have snow clear into the start of April this year because of the late start.  I like the cold and snow, just as long as it doesn't last past the first week of March.

They're forecasting a 19" snowstorm here in Richmond sometie in January.

 

Fine with me. ....As long as it actually comes.

LOL I ll tell ya it was a sight for sore eyes to get a blizzard here.. We got a little under a foot in like 6 hours.. But its supposed to rain for the next 3 days here so it will be gone in no time..

 

But they are calling for some more snow by thrus/fri *prayin*

Rain+snow= Sucks!

 

 

It's funny though. Back in '93 we got like 6-7 inches of snow and then it freezing-rained for 2 days non-stop. It didn't melt the snow though, it just put  sheet of ice on top.

 

When I finally got the chance to go out, the stuff wouldn't collapse under me for nothing. I jumped and thrusted my feet to the ground and it still didn't collapse. Fun Stuff.

 

But if it rains just regular water it just sucks.
