2005 TB Nav Question

I will trade in my 2002 Trailblazer tomorrow and pick up my 2005 TB with the factory Navigation unit. Can it play movie DVD's in the Nav unit? I couldn't get the rear DVD player as I ordered a sunroof with it.

I few things I noticed when I looked at my new 2005 from my 2002. GM will try to save a buck anywhere. The 2005 is a loaded LT with every option you could get, the 2002 is a loded LTZ.

No light under hood, no auto dimming inside mirror, no voice recorder, only one light in middle of back seat area, no LT badge on side doors-only one badge on tailgate, visor mirrors smaller and only one light with it, no trailer hitch eight pin to four pin convertor, window sticker looks like a very cheap black and white copy. I am sure Iwill add to the list once I get the truck home.

John, No, the Nav will not play entertainment DVD's. Just the Nav DVD and CD's.

I like to keep things OEM also, however you can install the Vizualogic front DVD player and a "larger-yet" flipdown monitor. Or, Vizualogic has two styles of headrest monitor/DVD players (and two styles of just monitors 7" and 9" each - not shown).

Dealers sometimes DIO these items. If they install it, no doubt that would cost more, however you're less likely to have to pay an extra premium on your insurance. (Before and after contract thing..) I'l look into that too.
