Drivers side headligh?

hi all,

 

Got a problem that I can't figure out at all, Does anyone else have a problem with there drivers light on a 99 NBS truck, where the lightbulb keeps breaking?

 

In the last 4 months i have bought at least 5 new lightbulbs for that side? on the headlight assembly there is a crack next to where you adjust the light, but sides that it's fine.

 

If the light kepts burning up I could look at other issues, but the lighbulb is aways in pieces...

 

any ideas??

If there is any moisture getting into the assembly then the halogen bulb will not last.

 

Also (and I'm sure you know this), don't touch the glass of the bulb with your fingers.

If the assy's cracked, that's your problem. Moisture is getting in and cracking the hot bulb.

That completly slipped my mine with moisture cracking the bulb..

 

 

guess that i need to search ebay more for a new drivers lens...
